From its beginning, the Golden State's colorful history has included the distinction of being among the most politically influencial states in the nation. The CRA has also been a national leader in encouraging Republicans in other states to organize in a joint effort to maintain the greatness and heritage of the Grand Old Party.
This history of the California Republican Assembly covers over 60 years of the organization's existence. Written over a period of years, with input from a variety of sources, it contains highlights of the founding of the CRA, its accomplishments and activities. It is by no means a complete history, but we hope you will find it interesting and informative.
