On Feb 22nd Jack Lavers, who is running for the 26th Assembly District, will be the guest speaker for the Porterville Area Republican Assembly. Mr. Lavers who is a 6th generation Central Valley rancher and small business owner, says he knows how to run a business and balance budgets, and will take that knowledge with him to Sacramento if elected.
Raised on small-town family values, Jack understands the importance of hard work, integrity, and community service. He is a loving husband and father, and enjoys spending time on the ranch with his wife Jennifer and their 5-year old daughter Reagan.
Jack says he will fight for a better economy with good paying jobs, water for our farmers, advancements in our education system, improve public safety, encourage new development in our neighborhoods, to always put our community first, and say NO to higher taxes.
Additionally, Dr. Anthony Martin - who is running for the Tulare County Office of Education - has confirmed that he will be our second guest speaker of the evening.
PARA's new meeting location for 2018 will be at TONY'S PIZZA, right next to Town and Country Market - 1304 West Olive Ave. This assembly will start a 6PM sharp, so get there early for a good seat.
